This Victorian former Methodist chapel has been successfully converted by Waugh Thistleton Architects to create a wonderful mix of traditional and modern elements. The entrance hall, which has retained its original flagstones, leads to a long kitchen with modern stainless-steel units. The enormous 50ft living room spans the length of the building, with three sets of doors opening onto a courtyard garden.
