The Modern Location provides locations for photo shoots, TV and film, events, product launches and more in the UK and abroad.

We specialise in modern architect-designed buildings and gardens. All of the locations in our portfolio were created between the 1920s — the formative years of the Modern Movement in Britain — and the present day. Unlike other agencies, every location we represent has been carefully selected for the quality and integrity of its design.

The Modern Location has close links with The Modern House. Our expertise and experience in the field of Modernist and contemporary architecture gives us unrivalled access to many of the most inspiring buildings in the world.

The Modern Location is run by Kelly Russell. Kelly has extensive first-hand knowledge of the locations industry, having worked for many years as an interiors stylist and set designer. She was formerly the Interiors Editor at Wallpaper* magazine.

Many of the locations in our portfolio are registered on a sole-agency basis (i.e. they are not available to book through any other locations agency). This discerning approach means that members of the press, art directors, producers and other industry insiders come to us first, safe in the knowledge that our stock has been pre-filtered for quality and exclusivity.
